About Me

About Me

Welcome to my site! I am a Pittsburgh - based photographer learning and growing my skills. Photography is a passion of mine; I've been photographing yinzers of all kinds for the past 4 years! Photography, to me, is about representing the beauty in the world as I see it. I look for unusual moments of beauty in people and relationships, and often use photography as a way to capture the  poignancy of these mundane moments.

I believe that photography is more than merely taking a picture, or capturing a moment. It is about truly seeing the world, and providing a way for others to truly see as well. To this end, I believe in portraying people as they are, and through my pictures, helping them to realize their own beauty. I love capturing personality, passion, and authenticity.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work (Hail to Pitt!), a former nanny and camp counselor, and I currently work full time as a child welfare caseworker!  I love learning, love creative expression, love reflective and nuanced endeavors. In my spare time (what spare time?!) you can find me doing yoga, reading good books, singing, hiking, attempting to cook. I am thoughtful and kind and compassionate. I value relationships and look forward to getting to know you and help you tell your story, see your beauty, or capture your important moments!
